anyway… i am super damn pissed off with iro/scisep lah! i mean now the stupid NASA (exchange award) thingy is already out.. then we haven’t even gotten our status for the university.. then obviously we won’t get it because we haven’t even gotten a bloody confirmation la!

then they keep saying that they’re settling but freaking shit, they’re taking so damn long la!

i am going to email iro now man. even if they had given a confirmation now it would have been so damn late la! and the person who’s in charge of this approval is going away to japan 4 days after my paper ends. and we all know it takes time to communicate between here and france.

i think i shall apply for like post grad in france la! since education is cheap, and masters are in english and not french, so no problem about the language.

1. talk damn loudly (and i was trying to revise my work la can!)

2. have smelly breath! damn disgusting ah. i was practically dying of the stench and cos it’s so crowded i couldn’t shift anyway

3. damn heavy! that stupid woman collapse on me… AND DIDN’T EVEN SAY SORRY! and she’s damn quaint la! like cos i was holding my notes, so it was obviously jabbing into her boobs, and she said she would rather stand like that than move anywhere! ehhh… does she get like some sense of pleasure whenever something jabs her boobs or something? wth?

4. damn kiasu! what’s this about singaporeans being kiasu. please la! we’re not even the ones to shovel and push to get the seats la. once there was someone who got up, then they would excited shout “快点抢位子坐啦！快点快点！不要让别人坐!” seriously i don’t think singaporeans can win in terms of kiasu-ness. it’s just that they don’t use this singlish term back in their own land k!

ok no, just kidding. i am not sucidal.. because.. as discussed the other time i will be too damn scared to be suicidal.

okay, digress a little first. it was during gen physio lab.. then my group mates and i were somehow talking about suicide. i can’t remember why.. maybe it’s related to the lecturer’s “can you commit suicide by holding your breath” question. anyway.. i don’t know if you know me.. but i’ll probably be the last person on earth to commit suicide.

let’s see why.

1. some people take lots of pills (which is stupid, because if you don’t die, your kidney would be severely damaged!)..

reason why i won’t do that: i’m damn scared of taking pills la! have you seen me taking pills? i need to gulp down so much water just for ONE pill. how to take more than one?

2. some people jump off the building.

reason why i won’t do that: i’m too scared to even go up to the building. i think my legs will turn into jelly just at the thought of taking the lift up, thanks to my wonderful height phobia.

3. some people slit their wrist.

reason why i won’t do that: i will be trembling like shit, and will probably faint even before i cut myself. because i can’t stand the excessive amount of blood.

so yeah.. everytime i write a comment like “i’m dying”, “just let me die”.. know that it’s just a passing comment ok? lol.

oh ya, so anyway.. back to the topic. 

it’s because from monday to wednesday next week.. i have 3 core papers. 

1 of which, i’m almost done mugging.. but panicking because i think i can’t remember what i studied earlier!

another one which is mcq & true/false (with negative marking. duh!).. which constitutes like technically 40% and it shouldn’t be that bad especially since i’ve covered some of the stuff with my another module (which i had exam today for).. but i have no idea why am i panicking too.

and the last one?

i haven’t started.

exams start tmr! hmm im seriously quite tempted to go to the airport to study…

because of this stupid drilling. so damn noisy la! plus my family is coming back tonight!!!

but a bit boliao la. they’re touching down in about 6 hours time.. by the time i bathe, take bus there etcetc.. i think not too much time to study at the airport alr. should have gone there early this morning man! but my notes were at home and not at hw’s place so i couldn’t go straight from there.

oh well, mugging time!

when my family was in the house.. i would find them so noisy.. making it so difficult for me to study..

because my mum would always be shouting at my bro, my bro will always be pestering me to use my laptop to play games, my dad would be watching tv loudly..

but now when i have the whole place to myself.. cos they’re away in hk for holidays…

i feel so damn lonely.

it’s funny how every morning i would just search around for the most quiet spot and study there. i mean, have you studied in the kitchen’s dining table before?

or even… the bathtub in your parents’ bedroom? wahaha. i know it sounds damn weird, but it’s actually quite nice and cosy in there. ehh, no i do not have a bubble bath as i study, otherwise my skin will become wrinkly from the long hours la! lol.

oh dear, tomorrow is monday. i wonder where should i study instead.. since my parents will be flying off tmr… maybe i should just bring my stuff to the airport to study! lol. where is good though? cos they’ll be at terminal 3….

ok i’m not usually so vulgar in my blog but i’m seriously damn pissed.
i dunno to be pissed at sci dean’s office or at iro.. or BOTH.

1. iro told us we were bonded, so we need not apply to any other uni other than insa.
reality: we didn’t get to go.

never mind.

2. iro they said they understand our plight and our “bond”, so they are willing to let us choose any uni in france. (note, not ANY uni, as previously thought to be.wtf)
reality: we heard from sci dean’s office that if we don’t manage to find a uni to go to, we have to pay the forfeit of a few K. wtf i ask you? is it my choice? did i not want to go? u didn’t accept any life science people, what can we do? you ask me to pay, i’m going to write a petition with a rest of the other 10+ ppl man! wtf!

3. sci dean’s office told us we should not have contacted the PU directly, when they obviously told us the other day to find out if there are any spaces in the other unis, because it’s too damn late and most applications have closed. so what is it about being pissed off with us for contacting the PUs?

4. upmc is so willing to let us go, but sci dean’s office said that it’s a VERY BIG PROBLEM if they have to let extra 4 ppl from UPMC to come to life sci. hello can i ask you, what’s the cohort of life science? 600? 700? 800? i don’t know.. but surely FOUR don’t make too much of a difference. why don’t you just let four less C.A.T.s to come here instead. there were a whole bunch at the canteen today, and oh fuck, were they damn noisy and irritating!

5. they keep telling us to choose other unis for backup. i have checked like every fucking uni in france (those that are PUs of course, and i can’t get any other unis that have modules that we can take. and it’s total waste of my time since it’s the exam period). so why do you keep asking me to search other unis when obviously i have searched and told you repeatedly that it’s impossible?

6. so now even if we get our modules approved, sci dean’s office may not let us go! wtf! i pray hard that the associate dean to approve. i also hope that everyone who reads this can help me pray too. (ok kidding, just do so if you want to. lol)

wtf la seriously. aren’t you damn pissed if you were me too?

couldn’t you just have liaised properly or told us to map to other unis, so that we don’t have to go through all these trouble, during our busy exam time?

i heard from uni of pierre and marie curie!! (UPMC).

gotta check with the admin if there are spaces. but that guy in charge is so nice! he told us to submit the list of modules we have taken, and the list of modules we want to take (provided we fulfilled the pre-requisties).. so i may be on my way to paris instead!

anyway i think upmc is really nice. cos..

1. they’re willing to help us settle everything quickly (ironically our OWN home uni’s IRO is taking 6218642368161836 years to call INSA)

2. they allow you to bring french/eng dictionaries in during CA and exams.. if your mother tongue isn’t french! just have to get a letter from the secretariat. which is fine by me :)

3.it’s like a medical/science uni.. unlike insa which is an engine uni and now i have so many more modules to choose from..
