hmm. just set up a photo blog. since wordpress has a restriction on the size of files being uploaded :X

but haven’t done anything much other than submit two photos for their new theme – city.

which is kind of like the “street photography” thing on snappy shutters!

why leh? because there’s a street photography global contest going on right now to actually win a camera and lens! but of course i’m just a noob so i’m only taking photos for fun and all la. hahah.

well that day i was having dinner with hw and family at Nomin Seafood Restaurant at Teck Chye Terrace.

The food was chunky but the portions were good i guess.

we had san lao hor fun, hei zo, ang gao (i think it translates to red grouper?), dried scallop-tofu, sambal kangkong + cuttlefish (duh i only eat the kangkong), some chicken, and of course, steamboat! not bad la i must say. bit pricey though.

but anyway, that’s not the point..

haha.

we saw the rehearsals for ndp! the planes were like flying past there.. and making displays and stuff. so i managed to catch a few shots using my lousy camera phone!

i know, very faint though. cos i was watching and forgot to take a photo at first! hahah.

it seems like i haven’t been doing regular updating. bleahh. i don’t know. nothing much to update recently i realised. i haven’t been meeting up with friends (other than my dear la of course).. i don’t have to work this week.. i was pissed with my bro but too pissed to write what happened lest i burst a vessel or something.. hmm. okayy la maybe i’ll just update what happened this recent weekend la. but it’s not like i took any photos.. so yeah. haha

anyway i went for my internship briefing/meeting with one of the 3 bosses on friday. it’s supposed to be a briefing but because i had to take care of my brother on thursday, i had to have a one-to-one “briefing” instead. haha. so “dua pai”. lol.

hmm.. now i’m tempted to talk about what happened on thursday. lol. anyway, i fetched my bro from school.. and then we were supposed to go and buy lunch. so he said that his bag was very heavy and he was very hot and sweaty. so i said.. ok.. then i’ll carry your bag for you, you just have to walk ok? he walked.. very reluctantly of course.

so we were at the cai fan stall and i asked him to choose the dishes that he wanted. he took so freaking long and the guy at the stall kept asking me if i wanted. meanwhile, a very very long queue was building up behind us. so i told him to hurry up tell me what he wanted but instead, he shouted at me. fuck la, so obviously i called my mum and she told me that if he was so uncooperative i could just buy my own lunch and he can jolly well starve. so okay, i bought my own lunch, but he just stood there in the queue, refusing to move or choose any dishes he wanted. (meanwhile the queue gets longer and longer!)

damn irritating. okay, so anyway because i was carrying his bag, his bottle, the umbrella, my hp pouch etcetc.. i asked if he could help me just carry the packets of rice (i bought rice for him in the end)..and you know what he said?? the rice is too heavy to carry. -_-”’

okay so it was a very unwilling walk home.. and when he got home he just started screaming and yelling and shouting.. he said it’s because mr ngoh (is this how you spell? or ngor?? whatever la).. confiscated his comic book the other time, and even though he was on his best behaviour, his teacher wouldn’t return the book to him.

firstly, he’s not supposed to bring the comic book to school. secondly, i don’t think pokemon counts as anything that a christian school would approve of reading.

so yeah, since when was he on his best behaviour? fuck la, he’s like running off to the playground all the time, without informing anyone! (which got the babysitter very worried because he wasn’t back from school after 2 and a half hours!)

so anyway he was like a mad dog so i locked him up in the room. i tied his door to another room door using a skipping rope (since the rope is much thicker and possibly harder to snap).. i just didn’t know what to do with him anymore. i kind of like.. GAVE UP ON HIM. and i cried. my chest hurt a lot. physically i mean. okay, maybe emotionally as well.

thankfully deardear is so brillant, he told me to just let him out, but lock myself in my own room the whole day (lest he throws anything sharp at me, given his mad dog behaviour)

oh well, i must say it was pretty good. me watching my vcds.. okay. my mum’s vcds. i watched coffee prince.. and i finished the whole damn series. lol.

okay anyway i’m still hardly talking to my brother because i’ve seriously given up hope on him.

alright so anyway, i digressed too much. back to the briefing on friday. anyway basically if i can hit my one year’s internship target by the end of this year.. i would get $2000 in my account every month for the 7/8 months that i’m in france/europe doing my eurotrip. okay, this means, of course, i have to work freaking hard! but yes i can do it! deardear must encourage me okay?? heehee

so anyway, i decided to meetup with my dear, since he was having battery outing at sentosa (to look at bikini babes, duh. but unfortunately he said there wasn’t any).. and tanjong pagar is pretty near to vivo.. just a couple of bus stops away.

but because my briefing ended so early.. i had nothing to do.. and i spent time in page one instead.. looking at my eurotrip stuff.. and i found a good book to buy! it’s called let’s go europe on a budget 2008 (yes i know i’m going in 2009 but i think relatively there shouldn’t be that many changes).. and it gives lots of tips and stuff.. cheap food, accomodation, places to visit, etcetc. information on eurail passes and whatnots are included too. and the best part? only this europe book of this series is on sale.. so it costs $28.50! :) for those of you who don’t know.. guidebooks usually costs a minimum of like $40 bucks.. so.. it’s really cheap for a guidebooK!

anyway, so my boss went to get the textbook for me and he wanted to pass it to me at the taxi stand.. so i went downstairs to meet him la. and over there, i managed to find a citibank cash deposit machine! (which is like quite rare in singapore, other than at the bank itself!) and because mine is a step up account, i need to increase the balance every month in order not to get charged.. i can’t remember what are the fees. so yup, so happened, dear happens to reach vivo at this time, and because i was busy and the queue was long.. i told dear to wait for a while. and he sounded so impatient, calling and calling to ask where i was.

so never mind, he told me to meet him at page one (which is like the other end of vivo).. so obviously i needed some time to walk there right? then he called to ask where i was. and the thing is that, when i reached there.. he wasn’t there.

turns out he went to citibank to find me, when he obviously said he wanted to meet me at page one.

:(

thankfully i can’t seem to be pissed at dear for long (unlike my brother) so yeah. i simmered down in like a couple of minutes.

anyway, for lunch i went to eat at white dog cafe! i love the food there! and the lunch menu that goes all the way till 5.30pm (actually it was our dinner, we wanted to have an early dinner so that dear can go for aikido after that). and… lobster bisque is really really good!! (even though the lobster pieces weren’t that many, but the taste was there!). it’s worth it for the upgrade of the soup of the day man! haha.

and the view.. was overlooking sentosa and the waters.. so.. hmm.. nice view, nice food.. nice deardear beside.. okay, i can’t ask for anymore :)

erm so anyway it started raining and dear was like thinking that the heavens gave him a sign not to go for aikido. hahah.

so anyway he sent me to his place (yes, it had stopped raining so technically that excuse wasn’t too valid) and we watched some tv, had some fruits, did a bit of the jigsaw puzzle.. before he sent me back on his bike. he refused to take the car. and.. guess what??

IT RAINED.

so.. basically he had to take shelter at my place.. for the night because he would be a freaking luo tang ji if he rode his bike home. so yeah anyway the whole family was watching tian long ba bu vcd.. hahah. and it was really nice to have my dear around.

the next morning, we were planning our part of the eurotrip, and sadly.. i can’t go to scandinavia with my dear (due to the time constraint cos he can only afford so many days of leave).. so i can’t visit santa claus with my dear! bleahh. but still.. france and switzerland and nice to travel around :)

haha, so anyway.. it rained again in the afternoon! sigh.. it’s not usually supposed to rain so much in july.. it’s supposed to get hotter and hotter..but now it’s just raining everyday..just like right now :(

okayy fine. i’m SICK. no no, not in the head. i mean physically sick. i don’t know why but yesterday i was like losing my voice during work!! omg. eugene said i sounded like i was “floating away” when i talked, and if i had called people at night (if i covered for zhao xiu’s slot).. people would have thought that “they were talking to a ghost”

louis said that my eyes were very puffy and that i looked very pale and about to collapse.

i seriously have no idea why man! i mean.. i slept super duper early the day before!! seriously! and i had like 10 hours of sleep! maybe it’s caused by TOO MUCH SLEEP. wahhahaha.

then after work as i was travelling home, my head felt super heavy! oh gosh. took a nap once i reached home.. had dinner.. rested for a while.. then went back to sleep. till like 1130am this morning!

slightly better i think. i’m not sure if my voice is still there because no one’s at home for me to talk to.. but i think my headache should be better already..

it’s so weird you know, not hearing angele’s voice in the office. it’s just sooooooo.. RARE. hahah.

oh well. will try to go to work today. i don’t want to skip too many days. will bring my paracetomols with me. lol.
